Thin-Wall Molding with PP PPH-Y24

Thin-wall molding pushes part walls to their minimum to save material and cycle time, and it depends on a high-flow resin to fill the thin cavity before the melt freezes. Sinopec PPH-Y24 is a high-melt-flow homopolymer built for exactly this job.

High MFR means the melt travels far in the short fill window, but it also means less time for cooling, so mold temperature and cooling design carry more of the burden than on standard parts.

Demold and ejection need care because thin walls flex and can stick or distort. Balanced venting, polish and ejection keep the part clean and the cycle fast.

Filling And Cooling Balance

Fast injection with a well-designed gate keeps fill complete before freeze-off. Holding pressure then sets dimensions without over-packing the thin section.

Cooling is the real cycle limiter. Efficient, even cooling lets the part release flat and stable, which is what makes thin-wall molding economical at volume.
